(Daytrip) Trani & Castel del Monte: Wine & culture
Overview
This journey begins among the enchanting streets of Trani, accompanied by a local guide, to get to know the main monuments and the medieval history of the village. We continue for a break dedicated to tasting local wines in a traditional farmhouse and the adjoining vineyards, where the different varieties of grapes and cultivation processes will be presented. You will observe, in the various rooms of the farm, the production, winemaking and aging phases. The tour ends with the presentation and tasting of the best wines of the estate paired with gastronomic products from the Apulian territory. Once the tasting is over, a visit to Castel del Monte will follow, the iconic octagonal fortress commissioned by Frederick II in the 12th century.
