Overview

Among the most famous destinations in Puglia we find Alberobello, the village with the greatest presence of trulli, with their unmistakable conical roofs, which give the town a fairy-tale appearance, among the most characteristic of Puglia. In fact, Alberobello has been included among the UNESCO heritage sites since 1996. Along our walk, we will visit the Rione Monti, the largest and most characteristic neighborhood entirely made up of Trulli; Aia Piccola, a more intimate district, with less tourist impact, being residential; and the Trullo Sovrano, a typical ethnographic reconstruction of a peasant house.

Another site of interest is Casa Pezzolla, a complex of 15 trulli communicating with each other, now an exhibition museum.
