Overview
This is not a simple cooking class! The activity begins well before getting into the kitchen… It is truly an immersive experience where you get in touch with the shopkeepers, just like a local!
Accompanied by a friendly local person you will visit the best places where you can buy your products, so forget about the supermarket! You will stop in the various shops, buying meat from your trusted butcher who will recommend the best piece based on what you need to cook, you will buy vegetables at the “Piazza della Frutta” market, learning to choose the freshest and best vegetables, the cheeses from the artisan dairy, as good as you’ve ever eaten!
Once you’ve done your shopping, you will be hosted in a delightful house in the centre, with an exclusive view, where together with your host you will prepare dishes according to traditional recipes, enriched with tricks and suggestions that a good cook can give. The activity ends with tasting what has been prepared, sitting at the table, as it is done at home, also knowing something about the life of the local people.
